Updated Pythia cross-sections using Angantyr were ran for the following settings:
- projectiles: p, \overline{p}, n,\overline{n},\pi^0,\pi^+,\pi^-, K^0, K^+, K^-, K^0_s, K^0_l, D^0, D^+, B^0, B^+,\Lambda^0,\Sigma^+,\Sigma^-,\Omega^-,\Xi^0, helium-4, nitrogen-14, iron-56
- targets: helium-4, carbon-12, nitrogen-14, oxygen-16, argon-40
-
P_{lab}from 10^2to 10^{12}GeV for discrete values of order of magnitude
Remaining simulations are to be updated for non-nuclear projectiles and proton targets via Pythia standalone.
A fit was ran over the collisions systems displaying kinks (with projectiles
\pi^0,\pi^+,\pi^-, K^0_l,\Sigma^+,\Sigma^-,\Omega^-,\Xi^0, B^0, B^+) and planned to replace the inelastic cross-section values for the read-out tables for CORSIKA 8. xsec_pythia8312_fit.pdfA discussion regarding "production" cross-section is to be started after the Christmas break, once the major update of Angantyr (including to the reuse file feature) is merged into main (ready for 8.3.13 hopefully)

P_{lab}from 10^2to 10^{11}GeV for discrete values of order of magnitude
A fit was run over all collision systems and @riehn and I decided to lower the maximum lab momentum value from 10
^{12}to 10^{11}GeV for now, seeing how some projectiles (K^0, K^\pm, K^0_s,\Omega^-) behave weirdly. This limit might be lifted after discussions with the Pythia development team. xsec_pythia8312_fit.pdfThe cross-section tables were converted to npz files using the following python script.

Can you plot your data points on top of the fit?

Yes sure! xsec_pythia8312_fit_with_dat.pdf
