Possibility to run conventional-only simulation
Hi,
is it considered to enable switching off the prompt production (both for muons and neutrinos) to produce a purely conventional CORSIKA MC? One can of course separate the two components via particle history, but the resulting distributions are not independent. I think from the point of view of analyses it would be very desirable to have a precise simulation of what we could expect if there was no charm production in the atmosphere. I think the best way would be to just allow the user to choose what will be switched off. I am aware of the CHARM option in C7, but it does not really switch off everything that can contribute to the prompt flux.
Cheers, Piotr
