Can't use dynstack for newer gcc versions
I tried to select DYNSTACK when running ./coconut
, but I always got the warning Could not parse gcc version
. I figured out that this is because dynstack checks the gcc version by calling gcc -dumpversion
. However, for newer gcc versions, this only prints the major version (e.g. 7
), which is unexpected by the code (which expects at least 1 or 2 points).
I have fixed this locally by replacing -dumpversion
with -dumpfullversion
in ./coconut
, but this is no general solution because gcc -dumpfullversion
seems to be unknown to older versions of gcc.
