Verbosity command line parsing and enable energy cut editing - mars example

When including the verbosity flag for the mars example, an error is returned verbosity command not recognized. Parsing handled in lines 188-202 in mars.cpp. the energy cuts are defined in lines 311-312 in mars.cpp, but changing these does not update the print out energy cut when the mars example is running.
