Versioning scheme

We need to agree upon a versioning scheme which makes it easy for the general public to assess the differences between different releases, e.g. v8.2.1 should yield essentially equal physics results as v8.2.3. I propose to follow the Semantic Versioning (https://semver.org/).

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
