PROPOSAL: muon energy losses unphysically high?

Since the addition of PROPOSAL to the vertical_EAS example the number of muons is significantly reduced, much more than it would make any sense. I created the branch "proposal_test" to demonstrate the effect: There are two vertcial_EAS'es - one with PROPOSAL and one with the old EnergyLoss process. Here are two longitudinal profiles of example showers (proton 1 PeV, 60 GeV cutoff):
